Barbecue with Charcoal

We've cooked with gas but have yet to buy a gas grill.  Charcoal is our preferred method.  Almost all of our 70 awards and invitations to 5 world championships have been with good old regular Kingsford® charcoal briquettes.  We have never liked the taste of Jet fuel so we don't recommend charcoal lighter fluid or match light charcoal.  Our starter of choice is a Weber® chimney with a chaffing dish heater or propane burner to start the charcoal.


For getting the best performance in an offset nothing beats a charcoal basket.
