California BBQ Classes Options:

• A very popular option is to fly to Seattle for our Washington Class or Texas for a Texas BBQ Class .  $89 one way to Austin on Southwest (Jan '10) which is your best bet if you own an offset. Consider the June Austin class that will have both Day 1 and Day 2 classes.

• Another popular Option is get a group together for a Custom Class

Our California price for our one day 8 hour class is in $350/student or $3,500 whichever is higher.

2006 Burbank BBQ Institute™ Class

• Another Option is take a class from Harry Soo.  Slap Yo' Daddy BBQ
  Harry has taken both our Pitmaster class (2006) and our competition class (2008).  He is current appearing on TLC's Pitmasters cable TV show. 
  1/11/2010 In addition to what's post on Harry's website here is the latest 2010 dates Feb 6 (firm), Feb 20 (tentative), March 13 (tentative), March 20 (firm).
   

• We only do the competition class on a rare basis for graduates who need emergency help.  Our recommendation is the Pellet Envy Class from Rod Gray (2009 KCBS team of the year) for those wanting a competition focus.  Rod does more competitions in one year than we have done in the last five.  See Our Competion BBQ Class page.
